The first avatara of Adi guru Dattatreya is Sripada Srivallabha Swamy. He performed penance for 14 years in Kurupuram (Kuruvapur). He used to conduct DARBAR for his devotees every morning in Panchdev Pahad (Kuruvapur) and solve their problems. In continuation to that even now for the purpose of VISWAKUNDALINI JAGARANA from past 15 years NITYANNADANA SHANTHI MAHA YAGNAM is being performed at Sripada Chaya Ashram.
As per the message given by
Lord Sripada and as per the direction of Sri Gupta Mahraj (Guruji of Sripathi
Swamy), Sripathi Swamy, the present head of Sripada Chaya Ashramam along
with few other devotees started the journey on the Vijayadashami day of the year
2007 from Srikhretra Pithapuram, carrying the Palanquin with
the sacred idol of Lord Sripada Srivallabha and finally reached
Kuruvapuram/ Panchadevapadu on the day of Datta Jayanti - 30th of December
2007.
Sripathi Swamy started this NITYA ANNADANAM on the very same day and since then it has been continuing with the blessings of the Lord.
Everyday ANNA PRASAD is being served to around 200-250 Devotees and Hunger People .
